Christmas is back again and Velocity celebrates it in its own way

The company again infused the joy, amusement, thrill and festive mood when it celebrated the auspicious day of Christmas on 23rd December, 2016.

This festival is one of the biggest celebrations of the passing year of 2016 and signals the arrival of the new year of 2017. To celebrate the event, Velocity was decorated in a beautiful manner. The walls, ceilings, and corners were brimming with colorful balloons, bells, snow flakes, colorful balls, snowman, grapes, stars and other such decorative items. The Christmas tree which was established at a place was well complementing the entire office space decoration.

There was a cheerful environment all around since the morning and the employees were busy clicking group pictures, or selfies in and around the Christmas tree. The time passed and with this, the excitement also escalated further. The company provided the lunch to its employees on this occasion and a movie plan for “Dangal” was orchestrated. The evening show of 4:20 pm was decided at the US Cinemas Europa at Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. The entire gold lounge was booked for the employees, superiors and staff members of the Velocity for this much anticipated movie flick of Aamir Khan.

Before the commencement of the movie, the employees made the US Cinemas as their photo session zone. Everybody was busy clicking pictures with their team members and friends at the different locations of the movie auditorium. There was laughter all around and camera flashes were seen in different areas of the movie auditorium. Then, finally came the show time and everybody hurried into the movie hall and selected their respective seats. Once, the people were comfortably seated, the refreshment comprising of the popcorn along with the cold drink was served by the multiplex authorities. So, the guys started watching Dangal movie along with eating popcorns and sipping their cold drinks on the comfortable cum adjustable lounges.

This Aamir Khan starrer movie was based on the life of Haryana wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his two wrestler daughters namely, Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat. The movie was nicely documented and brought to life on the multiplex screen by the director, Nitesh Tiwari. The performances of the entire cast were worth commendable and everyone played their part in a good manner. However, the acting capabilities of particularly Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra were very captivating in the entire movie plot. The movie was gripping throughout the starting till the climax part and it was a complete swan song.

After the movie was wrapped up, the employees finally ended the day on a happy note and there were smiles all around. Everybody was talking about the movie and its various scenes with their colleagues. Before departing from the mall, the employees again had a group album snap at the gallery. It was a day which made the entire celebration of Christmas more memorable and entertaining for everyone.
