Cherishing Childhood with Shikhar Adventure Park

Though we all have grown up, got busy with our 9 to 5  job and got busy in our family life and life problems, but a small kid who remains inside us refuses to grow up. So to give ourselves a break and bring that kid out, we velocitians planned to have some adventure trip.

And this time we were heading towards shikar adventure park, Gurugram.

So shikar adventure park is a place where you can have overnight camping, wall climbing, pottery making, Diya painting, tractor ride and so on. Well, we were a bit excited after hearing rumors but we were on the seventh sky after receiving mail regarding the trip.

Well, we started our trip on 01st February at 8 in the morning. A sign of relief was there as we had Sunday to relax our body and soul. With other sports shoes, track pants and T-shirts we all were ready for the Burma bridge, Wall climbing, Tyre Crossing, Tarzan Swing and other fun activities.

Everyone was enjoying the journey. Each of us was involved in singing songs, having crunchy snacks and clicking pictures. After reaching there, all of us got so excited looking at those swings. Each one of us knew what they liked the most hence we all grabbed the seats of our favorite sports. Girls were having fun in pottery, rock climbing, shooting and balance walk whereas guys were busy with hitting sixes and fours.

After playing for 3- 4 hours we were died tired and felt like having some delicious food hence we all started walking towards the lunch area and because we are so hungry, every dish was tasting yummy. The buffet had mix veg, paneer lababdar, different types of bread followed with salad and ice cream. Once we had lunch, everyone relaxed for a while. Meanwhile, we were chatting, clicking pictures and were playing games.

Then all headed to their respective sports and at 6 pm, everyone started moving towards their respective buses as it was time to say goodbye and made it back to the office. Everyone was so exhausted that they just felt like taking a nap.

It was a fun day and for once each of us forgot that we are no more a child now.
