To give our amazing team a refreshing break and a day full of fun, we organised a one-day outing to a water park. And what a WOW experience it turned out to be!
On a sunny Friday, Team Velocity hit pause on deadlines and turned up the fun at WOW (Worlds of Wonder) WaterPark, GIP Noida. What followed was a day packed with laughter, bonding, sunshine, and unforgettable memories.
Rain Dance Magic – Dancing Like Nobody’s Watching
Our first stop? The electrifying rain dance zone—and it did not disappoint. As the DJ dropped beat after beat, the rain shower began, transforming the dance floor into a full-on water party.
Even the “I-don’t-dance” folks found themselves caught up in the moment, drenched and grinning from ear to ear.
Wave Pool Bliss – Go With the Flow
After the high-energy dancing, it was time to switch gears and chill in the wave pool. The cool water and gentle waves were just what we needed to relax and soak in the summer vibes.
Some floated lazily on tubes, others paddled around, chatting and laughing as waves rolled in. A few even attempted synchronised wave-jumping. It was the perfect opportunity for candid selfies, sunbathing, and spontaneous group photos.
And when the big waves hit? The excitement level shot back up, with everyone splashing, shouting, and cheering like kids again.
Slides = Screams, Splash & Smiles
For the adventure lovers in the group, the water slides were the crown jewels of the day. We lined up excitedly for every slide, from twisting tunnels to steep plunges that ended in giant splash zones.
The Turbo Tunnel had us screaming all the way down, while Rapid Racers sparked friendly competitions. Some brave souls even went back-to-back for double the thrill.
And of course, there were a few dramatic wipeouts and accidental flips that led to bursts of laughter and inside jokes that will definitely carry over into Monday morning standups.
